Dorothy McBride

I was appointed Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer in April 2023, having 16 years’ experience working as a Parish Clerk for two neighbouring Parish Councils and also as the Town Council’s Finance Officer since February 2014. I was born and brought up in Neen Savage, attended Cleobury Mortimer Primary School and Lacon Childe School before moving on to college and university. After working in retail management for over 20 years I returned home to Shropshire. I am interested in the rural environment as well as the provision of services and facilities to promote a thriving community.
