I retired some years ago after spending nearly forty years working in the Automotive Industry as a Quality Engineer. I was born in Birmingham, then moved to Kidderminster when I married and settled in Cleobury more than 15 years ago. I am divorced and have two grown up sons and one grandson. I moved to Cleobury Mortimer from Coventry in 1990 and very quickly fell for this wonderful town, its people and the beautiful countryside. I live here with my wife, Deborah, a secondary school teacher in Ludlow. We married in St Mary’s over a quarter of a century ago and have been here ever since. My parents moved to Cleobury in 2012 and this has given me a new perspective on issues, particularly those affecting the more senior members of our community.
My interests lie in public service and I am treasurer of the Cleobury Mortimer Men’s Shed association, a newly formed group which I hope we will see blossom in the near future.
I am pleased to be part of the team and I hope to make a positive contribution to our community.
Please feel free to contact me with any parish issues that you would like to discuss.

Growing up, my parents owned a holiday home in Doddington and I have happy memories of exploring the local area during my childhood. I am proud to be part of the Cleobury Mortimer community and to have the opportunity to lead the Town Council.

I have lived in Cleobury since 1986 together with my wife Maggie, and it is my firm intention to never leave. It is a town to which I feel strongly connected and although I did not come here until adulthood, all of my three children were educated at the local primary and Lacon Childe schools. I spent my working career as a Chartered Surveyor, the last 35 years in the residential sector; the quality of housing therefore is of particular importance to me.
I hope that as a councillor I can contribute to the development of the town so as to improve the lives of its residents whilst at the same time to retain as much as possible of its character and sense of community.
You are welcome to contact me at any reasonable time if you have any issues which you would like to discuss.

I moved to Cleobury in 2003 with my family and attended Cleobury Mortimer Primary and Lacon Childe School, graduating in 2012 and going to Bridgnorth Endowed for college. After college, I went to Cardiff Metropolitan University to study English literature and Drama. After that, I returned to Cleobury, working in the Coop for a year, and doing some small teaching jobs in Wolverhampton and Ludlow. I later worked at Hobsons and in Ironbridge at Blist Hill as a Bartender. After volunteering at the Food bank for a while, I began considering other ways I could help Cleobury Mortimer’s community, and decided to apply to become a Councillor.
