Matthew Sheehan (Clerk)

I  was born and raised in Cleobury Mortimer with my family and cousins over 50 years ago, attending Lacon Childe School from 1970 to 1975, after which I attended Kidderminster College . At the age of 19 I joined the Army as a mechanic in the REME where I served 9 years and reached the rank of Corporal. After the Army I spent a few years in Peterborough as a mechanic before returning to the area . After living  on Clee Hill for 16 years I moved back to live in Cleobury Mortimer . I have taken on the role of Clerk as I have deep connections with Cleobury Mortimer and seeing the changes over the last 50 years will do all I can for the benefits of Cleobury Mortimer and its residence.

Tony Kirkby

I was born in St Albans, Hertfordshire and first moved to Cleobury Mortimer in 1991 where I met my wife, Kerry.  Since then we have lived in East Sussex, Derbyshire and West Sussex before returning to Cleobury in 2007.

I have three children, all of whom attended or are currently attending the Primary School and Lacon Childe.

I work for Capita, a London based company as a DSE Assessor and have been since 2007.

I joined the Council in 2014 and have a passion to see the best possible benefits for Cleobury residents. I am enjoying learning and embracing all the skills and qualities required for the safe and efficient future development of a town’s infrastructure such as ours and all the daily challenges that this brings.

I have lived in Cleobury for 22 years with my wife and two children who went to school here. I want to carry on the development of Cleobury as a community that is supportive, creative and involving. I hope to bring my experiences as a Charity Fundraiser and senior executive for The Alzheimers Society, Diabetes UK, Royal Voluntary Services and other charities. My previous marketing experience was in Grocery and Financial Services marketing as well as running my own consultancy/interim management business. Now “at leisure” and caring for family members, I have the time and passion to devote to my home town. My interests lie particularly in health and wellbeing, improving employment, transport and affordable housing opportunities.

Paul French

paul french.psdI have lived in Cleobury Mortimer since 1986.

My son attended both schools and had an excellent education at both.

I formed the Cleobury Mortimer Footpath Association with other close friends and have been proud to see how that has developed.

I was a member of the working group for our Parish Plan before being co-opted onto the Parish Council.

During my time on the Council it has been a pleasure to see our community blossom and grow in strength. I am proud to have been part of that along with my Council colleagues and the very many committed individuals in our Town who strive to make Cleobury a happy, vibrant, successful and safe community in which to live.

My wish is to continue to be part of that process.
